Hey there! 👋

I can't believe it – my blog is finally live! After months of planning and recently diving headfirst into the world of coding, here we are. I'm Çağdaş Ken Demirel, and I'm absolutely pumped to share this journey with you.

Who Am I?

I'm a serial entrepreneur who's spent the last 10+ years building businesses, but with a twist – I'm obsessed with automation. Not the boring, corporate kind of automation, but the exciting kind that lets you build businesses that actually run themselves so you can live life on your own terms.

My approach is all about the 80/20 principle and essentialism. Why scatter your energy across everything when you can focus deeply on what truly moves the needle? It's about doing less, but better – identifying the vital few that deliver extraordinary results. This philosophy of intentional focus shapes everything I build.

What I'm Building

Right now, my main focus is Fat Pitch Strategy – my custom vertical SaaS development company. We take an unconventional approach: we partner with industry experts, gather information about what software features they desperately need for their business, then build it for them at no cost and only get paid later if they and their industry adopts the solution. We only succeed when we create something that genuinely solves really hard problems, which aligns us perfectly.

It's a model born from believing that too many solutions exist without real problems to solve. We prefer to build things that actually matter – software that becomes essential to how businesses operate, not just another dashboard collecting digital dust.

My Coding Journey (Plot Twist: I'm a Total Beginner!)

Here's where it gets interesting – until recently, I couldn't code my way out of a paper bag. But I had a vision for this site and blog, and I didn't want to wait for someone else to build it.

Enter Claude Code and Astro.js. Holy cow, what a combination!

Claude Code has been like having an incredibly patient coding mentor who never judges you for asking "stupid" questions. I've been able to build this entire site – a multilingual blog with proper SEO, clean design, and all the modern web standards – without years of coding bootcamps.

Astro.js? Pure magic. The way it handles static generation, the component system, the performance... I'm genuinely excited about the tech stack I've stumbled into. Coming from a business background, I never expected to get this excited about JavaScript frameworks, but here we are!

Behind the scenes, I've also been setting up our content management with Directus as our headless CMS, which connects beautifully with automation tools like n8n and Activepieces. The workflows we've built already handle everything from content publishing to social media scheduling – it's incredible how these tools work together to create truly automated publishing pipelines.

But here's what I'm most proud of: this site scores 100 on Google PageSpeed Insights. As a complete coding newbie, seeing that perfect 100 score felt like winning the lottery.

I'm also working on something I call a "social pipe" – a system where I can dump my raw thoughts, voice memos, and ideas into one end, and it intelligently processes everything into blog posts, social media content, organizes images, and even helps plan podcast guests. Think of it as turning scattered thoughts into a cohesive content strategy without losing the authentic voice.

This blog is going to be my real-time journal of building businesses that run themselves. I'll share:

• My continued coding adventures (probably with plenty of mistakes and learnings)
